More experiments with frying. I
asked my daughter whether she wanted her pork chops baked or fried. She looked at me quizzically, said she never heard of fried pork chops and then said she wanted to try them.
So, I set the fryer to 375 degrees, cracked and egg, and prepared the coating.
The coating? Flour, paprika, salt, pepper, cumin, basil and oregano.
Scramble the egg. Dip the pork chops in the egg. Coat with the flour mixture. Put in the fryer for 6 minutes.
We started off at 10 minutes, but that turned out way too dry. 6 minutes was fine.
